Applications are now open for the 3rd Annual Undergraduate Symposium, held as part of the 33rd International Conference of Europeanists in Leiden, the Netherlands, June 16–18, 2027.
Students will be selected on a competitive basis to present their research to scholars in their field, attend the full CES conference, and connect with our international community of Europeanists. We especially encourage submissions that engage with this year’s conference theme, “Securing Europe: Reimagining Power, Prosperity and Connection in a Troubled World?” Submissions from across the full range of European Studies are also welcome.
Students should submit a 250-word paper abstract by December 1, 2026. Applicants will be notified of decisions in January 2027.
