IMSISS Placement and Research Program

IMSISS is an international consortium of universities and non-academic partners funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme to deliver an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies. The IMSISS consortium is coordinated by the University of Glasgow. CES is an associate partner of the consortium. For more information please visit the IMSISS website.

For the past three years, CES has trained outstanding emerging scholars as Digital Officers. Placements range from 3-12 months in length. During that time, students are engaged in every aspect of the organization. Four fellowships will be available in total for the 2021/2022 academic year. The following young scholars have been selected as the FY21/22 cohort:

In addition to these placement opportunities, the partnership also promotes research mobility as part of the IMSISS-CES Visiting Scholar Program. Mobility funding is available for CES Research Network members to undertake a visit of up to 2 weeks at one of the three IMSISS consortium institutions – The University of Glasgow (UK), Dublin City University (Ireland) or Charles University Prague (Czech Republic). You will find more detailed information here.
