The Undergraduate Paper Prize is given for the best research paper written in English on any subject in European Studies as a part of an undergraduate university degree program. Designed to encourage interest and collaborative interdisciplinary work in the field of European Studies, projects that incorporate another discipline are strongly encouraged.
Eligibility:
Each nominated project must meet the following criteria.
Be a paper authored or co-authored by an undergraduate student in the field of European Studies;
Be in the 4000-6000 word range with a maximum word count of 8,000
Be written in English
Be the work of one author or the collaborative work of two authors
Be authored by a student, or students, of an institution that is a member of the CES Academic Consortium
Two selections will be awarded $250. Each winner will be invited to present their work at the next CES conference and receive free attendance.
