From 1996 to 1997, he was editor of the Volga newspaper in Saratov, before joining Deutschlandradio in 1998 as a permanent freelancer. In 2005, he launched the podcast »Küchenradio« with some friends and later founded the podcast label »Kuechenstud.io«. In 2006, he received the German-Polish Journalism Prize for his report, “Pension Büchler – German unemployed and Polish migrant workers next door.” Philip is primarily concerned with the effects of digitization but also with environmental and educational issues.During the first 30 minutes, Philip Banse will explain the idea behind podcasts and teach some basic skills, such as recording, editing, and publishing a piece. At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to listen to the podcast on their smartphones and will have the opportunity to ask the trainer any questions they might have.
